We had a lovely week. It was not too cold and not too hot. Some in our community got rain. I don’t think it sprinkled at our house, but maybe next time will be our turn.

The beauty, excitement and charm of flamenco will once again grace the stage of the Odeon theater in Mason February 10 at 7:00pm. Sonya Casillas and her flamenco dancers with guitarist Jose Manuel Tejada and percussionist Neftali Medina join together as La Sonya y Los Flamencos.
Sonya has danced her way across America and to Spain while studying and performing classical flamenco.
A Llano County Candidate Forum will be held at the American Legion Hall February 1st. The Candidates will be available to “visit” with attendees during the Social hour from 5:30-6:30 pm, followed by dinner and the Forum beginning at 6:30.
The Candidates will take the platform in the same order as the March Primary ballot and will be asked questions by the Moderator as well as attendees.

January is almost over. Where did it go? I think we spent our time running to doctor appointments and sitting at home shivering. We did have some cold weather. My greatest news is that my revamped greenhouse helped my plants survive. I was losing a lot of plants at 20 degrees.
