The 54th annual Harper Frontier Days will be held Friday & Saturday, Aug. 31 & Sept. 1 at the Harper Community Park.
A weekend of activities are planned, with the annual rodeo highlighting the action on Saturday night. The Harper Community Park Assoc. is once again proud to have The Crenwelge Auto Group as title sponsor for the weekend!
Friday evening will see team roping competition at 7 p.m.
Children need healthy meals to learn. Mason ISD offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs $1.10; lunch costs $2.20 PC -4 and $2.40 for 5-12. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced-price meals. Reduced-price is .30 for breakfast and .40 for lunch. If you received a notification letter that a child is directly certified for free or reduced-price meals, do not complete an application.
Fredericksburg, TX (August 6, 2018) – A celebratory opening night gala is scheduled for Friday, August 10th at 6:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Steve W. Shepherd Theater followed by a performance of the Fredericksburg Theater Company’s (FTC) summer finale musical You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. This production will have six performances, running August 10th through the 19th, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at the Steve W.

Our household has been on the run again. John has been sick and is currently in the VA nursing home in Kerrville. He has a blood infection and has twice daily IV antibiotic. He hopes to come home by the end of the month. Keep him in your prayers.

The Association and Advisory Boards of F.M. Richards Memorial Library is holding a fundraiser for the new library on Friday, August 10 at the Event Center. The Event is Boots ‘N Books with live music, dancing, and a silent auction. All proceeds will be donated to the new library. The silent auction has a variety of donated items that will appeal to everyone from baked goods and casseroles offered monthly, a Yeti cooler, a specially prepared dinner opportunity, and many other items.
