It is time again to apply for a Hill Country CattleWomen scholarship. If you have a junior or senior student who is attending a Texas college or university, have them visit their website at: http://www.hillcountrycattlewomen.com/. Students can download the application. All majors can apply, applicants are not restricted to Agricultural majors.
The Friends of the Library know that many people in the community are following the advisory to stay away from social gatherings for health reasons, accordingly FOL is postponing our Annual Book and Bake Sale to a future date. The First Baptist Church of Mason will be showing multiple movies in our Sanctuary the next couple of months. Last year we were able to install a large projector and screen. We recently installed a new sound system. Though the primary use of this equipment is to help facilitate our worship services, we are also eager to share what the Lord has given us with the community.
May is a time of rebirth and growth. A time to celebrate the possibilities that await us as a fresh new season dawns. Join us on Friday, May 1 to celebrate this new season and view the advancements made in restoring the beautiful Seaquist House. The event will run from 6-9 PM with libations and appetizers being enjoyed by guests.
As a warning, we would like you to be aware, there have been confirmed cases of rabies in Mason. Because the infected species live so close to people, this would be a good time to make sure all your pets and other animals are current on a rabies vaccine. You are urged not to leave food outside that could aid in attracting these animals, and also advised not to feed ANY stray animals at this time.

Beven Eckert Memorial Library for this special program.
