Harold Kimsey Shearer, 89, of Corpus Christi died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 16.
He was born June 20, 1930, in Brady, Texas to Sydney Kimsey Shearer and Jessie Mae Roark Shearer. He grew up in Mason County where the Shearer family had lived since 1896.
Harold graduated from Mason High School and earned two degrees from Texas A&M University in College Station; the first in agriculture and the second in civil engineering.
Etta Fay Caylor, of Weatherford, Texas, entered into the Presence of her Lord and Savior on January 27, 2020. She was 88.
Etta Fay was born on the family farm in Grit, Texas, the 11th child born to Isaac Melvin Beam and Emma Elizabeth Beam. After graduating from Mason High School, she enrolled in nursing school in Brady, TX, where she became an LVN.
Daymond Brandenberger, of Mason, passed away on Thursday, January 30, at the age of 77. He was born in Brady on March 19, 1942, to Howard and Dessie (Kothmann) Brandenberger. He was a life-long rancher in Mason County.

Born in Llano County, September 23, 1924 on Flag Creek at her maternal grandparent’s home, Alfred and Wilhelmine Weber, she spent her early years on the family ranch of her parents, Albert and Therese Lehmberg in the Prairie Mountain Community.
Marianita “Anita” Morquecho passed away on January 27, 2020 in Pflugerville, Texas at the age of 77.
Anita was born on January 7, 1943 in Mason, Texas to Julia and Alfredo Martinez. She married the love of her life Juan Morquecho Sr. on May 22, 1959.
Together they were blessed with 10 children, 27 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Anita was a devoted mother and a loving wife.
Sheila Kemp, of Mason, passed away on Monday, January 13, at the age of 70 after a short illness. She was born on August 17, 1949 in Mobile, Alabama to Fred A. Harrell and Aline Ervin Harrell.
Her father was in the Air Force so they moved around a lot as she was growing up, living in Panama and France among other places.

Henry was born on July 2, 1931, at the family home in Castell, Texas, the son of Milton Lang and Mary Strackbein Lang. He attended the Castell School through the eighth grade, then Mason High School while he boarded with friends.

Ernest Lee Morris born September 7, 1943, in Georgetown, Texas, to S.L. Morris and Lola Boggs Morris. Ernest was proceeded in death by his mother, Lola; father, S.L.; step-father, James Lackey; and nephew, Matt Morris.
Ernest joined the Navy in September of 1962 and left in 1966. From there he joined TxDOT and retired in 1995, he and Opal moved to Tow, Texas from Austin in 1995 and made a beautiful home.
