A Llano County jury of seven women and five men found Karra Trichele Allen guilty of murdering her husband, Brian Dean Allen, at their home in Bertram, on July 1, 2013. The decision was rendered Tuesday, June 2.
Judge Allan Garrett presided over the trial in which District Attorney Sonny McAfee and Assistant District Attorney Peter Keim presented the State's case.
The 2015 Certification Class has completed the 13 week classroom portion of the Master Gardening course.
The class met weekly and covered many aspects of sustainable gardening such as landscaping, soil amending and composting, vegetable gardening, propagation, and many more.
