The 4th Annual Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival is back, October 20 – October 22nd The Festival will have over 60 FREE elite songwriter showcases featuring over 45 songwriters from all over the US and internationally. They will be telling the story behind and performing their original songs in 6 intimate venues in the Historic District of downtown Dripping Springs.
The Rainwater Revival + Hill Country Living Festival – an annual event of the Hill Country Alliance – returns to the Dripping Spring Ranch Park on Saturday, November 4, from 10am to 5pm. It’s free and family friendly.
This event is a major expansion from the past seven years of Rainwater Revival, now with a broader focus on the programs of the Hill Country Alliance – water, land, night sky and community.
October 21 is the date for the 13th Annual Llano River Chuck Wagon Cook-off and the second annual Llano PRCA EXTREME Bull Riding at the John L Kuykendall Arena. This year there will be two added events to the weekend. On Saturday morning at Badu Park, in addition to the chuck wagon cook-off is the Texas State Title Cobbler Championship, cobblers can be cooked at home or on site.

The Artists Alliance of the Hill Country (AAHC) is spotlighting over 50 juried artists at The SHOW of Dripping Springs as a two-day Fine Art Event from 11 AM to 5 PM.
Excitement is in the air as things are really gearing up for the upcoming 112th Annual Kendall County Fair. The Fair will be held Labor Day Weekend and will have the Queen’s Court crowning on Thursday, August 31.
The doors open at 5 pm on Friday, September 1 and there will be all day entertainment in the form of music, magic and ventriloquist acts, and all sorts of activities through Sunday, September 3.
Saturday morning will be the annual Fair Parade through downtown Boerne.

The quaint Texas Hill Country town of Bertram is preparing itself for this year’s annual Labor Day event, their 40th Annual Oatmeal Festival. The festival begins Friday, Sept. 1, at 5:03 pm in the nearby town of Oatmeal, and continues all day Saturday in Bertram.
