July just jumped out and I am not ready. Well, I am ready for cooler weather. But, I am not ready to face August heat.
I learned today that Art had a part in the Mason tennis tradition.
The emergency alert sirens will be tested on Thursday, June 28 at noon. The test will only be performed if there are no clouds.
Regular tests of the siren system is necessary to check for any problems and to be fully prepared should the siren be required for actual use.

Story Slam Winner 2018 Texas Storytelling Festival
Kim Lehman, “The Bee Lady,” is coming to the Mason Co. M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library on Tuesday, July 3, at 1:00 p.m. Admission is free. This program is in lieu of Read to Swim that day, but participants will receive swim passes. She’ll be presenting “The Buzz about Bees” and leading the children in games, songs, and crafts about honey bees.
Hill Country Memorial announces the third quarter dates for its Obstetrics Department Tour & Open House for expectant parents.
The open house will be held on Thurs., July 5 from 5:30-7:15 p.m. in the HCM Women’s Pavilion (1011 S. Milam St.). Light refreshments will be served.
The event will continue to be held on the first Thursday of each month, including Aug.

Hill Country Astronomers (HCA) will meet at 6:30 PM, Monday, July 2, in the HEB Activity Room at Hill Country University Center in Fredericksburg.
