On Friday, October 7, Mason High School hosted its annual College and Career Day, sponsored by the Career and Technology Department and Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).
Many successful members of the Mason community as well as notables from around the state and country have visited Mason High School for College and Career Day since its inception six years ago.
Mason easily breezed through the first step in the 2016 playoff run on Friday night by defeating Moody 49-7 at Nelson Field in Austin.
The lopsided score doesn't reflect the well executed competition of the Moody Bearcats during Friday's game. They were able to accumulate 156 total yards to the Punchers' 471.
In the first quarter, the Punchers began quickly moving downfield, and the series would end with a 61-yard run by Haddon Hudson for the score.

Dear Gerry,
On November 8th, after the rains we had, I was delivering mail on my regular route. I arrived at Loeffler Lane and was surprised to see the creek seemed to be running faster than usual. I drove closer to see my markers telling me it was safe to cross but I could not see the markers.
Trump

We routed the enemy at the gate and set 'em back a spell, without firing a shot.
Praise God Almighty.
