Amanda McMillan of the Mason Rodeo Association presented a beautiful Tres Rios buckle to Kallie Criswell at the Round Up Rodeo performance. Kallie had the fastest time of all the Mason County contestants in the Round Up Jackpot on Friday. She and her horse, Pokie made a smoking run and also had the second fastest time of the entire jackpot!

This is a busy part of summer. I was ready for lazy days. I don’t think this is the week for lazy.
We welcomed our new pastor, Tim Fahrenthold, on Sunday with a delicious lunch. Welcome Pastor Tim and Claudia.
This week is Roundup in Mason. After an Independence Day celebration, Mason will continue the party.

The Mason Lions Club met Tuesday, June 28th for it’s weekly luncheon meeting. There were 34 members and 2 visitors in attendance.
Incoming President Jess Irwin passed out the program schedule for July and August. Lion Michael Cope announced that the Commercial Bank will have a 115 year celebration at Lea Lou Co-op Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
