Our very first Scramble of 2016 was a smashing success! The weather could not have been nicer, with warm temperatures and gentle winds. And we had a great turn-out: 26 golfers eager to get back into the swing of things were put into 5 teams and turned loose on the course promptly at 5:30.
The teams came rolling in around 7-7:30 and began posting their scores and telling some very tall tales.
The JV Cowgirls traveled to Harper last Tuesday for an exhibition game, but lost by 3.
The Cowgirls came out strong and scored 4 runs the first inning. The Cowgirls were able to get their bats going early and continue to hit throughout the whole game. The Cowgirls totaled 18 runs in the game and had 10 total hits during the game.
Defensively the Cowgirls showed improvement since the last time they played.

When students are young, their minds are open, and like sponges, they soak up everything they're presented ...
