Many residents of Mason have noticed the new construction occurring on the east side of town and a few have inquired about the status of the development and asked questions about the general requirements of qualifying for an apartment home. We thought now would be a great time to provide some updates and ensure that correct information was being disseminated.
The construction is still on track to be completed by early to mid-summer.
What do these things have in common: achiote, garam masala, chile habanero, green curry paste, white truffle oil and fresh basil? These are just a few of the ingredients we have gathered for the immense variety of foods being prepared for the Pawtail Party III held on April 14. Second Chance Mason Animal Rescue is having its third annual Pawtail Party beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Back when many of us “children of the 60’s” were burning our bras, a favorite slogan among the newly-liberated was “well-behaved women rarely make history.” On that note, Mason’s Scarlet Punchers, those intrepid women “of a certain age,” who absolutely insist on enjoying life to the fullest, are planning to “go wild” for our April get-together, on Monday, April 9th.
As a friendly reminder, the City of Mason Animal Control would like to remind pet owners to get your cats, dogs, and ferrets vaccinated for rabies.
Due to the fact there have been several confirmed cases of skunks testing positive for rabies within the city of Mason, we feel it is necessary to notify the public and remind them of the importance to vaccinate your pets.
