The annual meeting of the Mason County Historical Society will be on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at 7 p.m. at the River of Life Church. Featured speaker will be Jeff Salmon of Abilene, the executive director of Frontier Texas.
Jeff has served as the Executive Director of Frontier Texas since September of 2003.

Second Chance – Mason Animal Rescue will be hosting a Halloween Costumes and Cocktails Party on Saturday, October 22, 2016. The party will be held at the Seaquist House beginning at 7 p.m. and will feature appetizers, deserts and drinks.
