Individuals interested in obtaining a free or reduced cost mammogram and Pap test are invited to a free presentation and dinner on Thursday, Aug. 11.
The “Friend to Friend” program will be at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church. A complimentary dinner will be provided at 6 p.m., and a presentation begins at 6:30 p.m.

On July 25, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a new, one- to five-star quality rating system for US hospitals. Hill Country Memorial was one of only 102 hospitals in the nation to receive the highest five-star rating.
“This rating is reflective of the work the entire HCM team does each day for every person and family we serve,” HCM CEO Jayne Pope said.

The drawing for the 2016 Puncher Dome football home games will be held Tuesday, August 23 @ 10:00 am. The drawing will be held at the MISD Admin office on the north side of the square (200 Fort McKavitt St).

The Mason Rodeo Association will be meeting this Sunday, August 14th at 2:00 p.m. at the Willow Creek Café. Officers will be elected, committee assignments decided and decisions made regarding the 2017 Round Up Rodeo and Dance.
The Mason Rodeo Association “year” goes from Round Up to Round Up so this will be the kickoff meeting for the coming year.
