Come meet well-known Christian Fiction author Karen Witemeyer! She’s giving a book talk and book signing at the Mason Co. M. Beven Eckert Library, 410 Post Hill St., on Saturday, April 8th. The event will be in the Stribling Room of the library from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M.
Although she grew up in California, Karen attended Abilene Christian University where she earned bachelor and master’s degrees in Psychology.

Pack your sewing machine, some lovely pre-washed fabric, your favorite apron pattern, and gather at the Mason Co. M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library on Tuesday, April 11, from 10:00-2:00. Pat Searsy will be your teacher.
On March 23rd, the JH Band went to Cisco to play in their music festival. The band came away with a 2nd division in concert and a 1st division in sight reading.
“On stage the three judges gave us a 1-2-2, so it was close to a 1st division. I thought the kids worked really hard, it was just tough coming off an extra long spring break to get our music back up to where it was and where it needed to be.
The 7th & 8th grade Mason Cowgirls competed in the Goldthwaite Eagle Relays on Friday, March 31. All of the girls competed well, and we continue to have some great performances in the throws, jumps, hurdles, and relays. The 7th grade Mason Cowgirls team won the track meet, while the 8th grade Mason Cowgirls team finished in 6th place overall.

On March 9th, the Mason Puncher HS Band went to Llano for UIL Concert & Sight Reading Contest. The band came away with a 1st division in Concert and a 1st division in Sight Reading.
“I was really proud of how they played. We didn’t have our best day on the stage, but we played well enough to get a 1st division.
Grace Christian School participated in the ACE Regional Student Convention in Palacios, Texas from March 6th to 10th. This annual leadership event allows Christian school students to compete against one another in UIL type events. This year’s convention was well attended with 20 schools competing and over 200 students in attendance.
