The Puncher teams continue to bring pride and joy to our community with their excellent performance and great sportsmanship. Whether it is the girls’ basketball, team tennis, one act play or any of the other UIL activities, our young adults always seem to reflect the very best of our Mason spirit and character.
Riata members held their February 25th meeting in the Stribling Room of the Mason County M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library. Our program was presented by our guests from The Frontier Healthcare Network. Cam Kleibrink, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer gave an overview of the history and development of the network that serves six central Texas counties.
The Llano Country Opry will be staged on Saturday, March 14, at the Lantex Theater in downtown Llano. The show will begin at 2:30 PM and admission is $20 per person. The Mason Cowgirls competed well at their first track meet against several larger schools at the Blanco Panther Relays on Thursday, February 27. The Mason ISD Scholarship Foundation was formed through the generosity of the late Geneva Keller, a Mason County native. Mrs. Keller left her ranchland of approximately 600 acres, an area better known to locals as White’s Crossing, to the Foundation to be sold and the proceeds used for higher education for graduates of Mason ISD.

SAN ANGELO, TX (02/21/2020)-- More than 200 Angelo State University student-athletes and student-athletic trainers, including Weston Bauer of Brady, have been named to the ASU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for their academic performance during the 2019 fall semester.
