Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site invites everyone to join in the fun on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Daily Farm Chores. Step back in time and come visit the Sauer Beckmann Living History Farm. Period dressed costumed park ranger interpreters will take you back in time to the traditions of a 1915 German farm family.
Mark your calendar, its Mexican dinner time again. The parishioners of Good Shepherd Catholic Church would like to invite you to join us on Sunday, October 1, 2017 for our scrumptious homemade Mexican dinner. The Johnson City Woman’s Civic club closed out their first half of 2017 by presenting a check to the Library for $11,718.00, proceeds from the March Spaghetti/Bingo fund raiser. Now that everyone has had a summer break, the club is ready to begin their meetings with new officers who are eager to get started with the objectives of the club. New President Kay Culp has been busy during the summer months organizing and working with all the new officers and committees.

September brings a busy month for the Hill Country CattleWomen. They will have a booth at the Kendall County Ag Day on September 14, 2017 in Boerne. Each year the different counties in and around the Hill Country have Ag Days. Fourth graders from the different counties participate in a Field Day.
