All incoming 9th graders are invited to attend Llano High School Fish Camp on August 6, 2015, from 12:45 to about 5:00 in the LHS Auditorium. Fish Camp is an opportunity to ease the transition from junior high to high school. Ruth Nason Goodson passed away Thursday July 9, 2015 at the young age of 92. She was born May 9, 1923 to Winford and Maggie Nason in Starksville, Mississippi. She moved to Llano in 1985 after the death of her husband Charlie J. Goodson to be close to her stepson Kyle and wife Carolyn Goodson. Ruth was an avid quilter making beautiful handmade baby quilts and quilts of all sizes.
James R. Fergus, III of Cherokee passed away on July 12, 2015. He was born on November 7, 1969 to parents James R. Fergus II and Rosalee Fergus. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; daughter, Heather Clancy, son, Dustin Fergus; sister, Judy; one granddaughter, Caylee Smith and nieces and nephews.

Harvey Spinks passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. He was born on June 6, 1944 to Harvey B. Spinks, Sr. and Marjorie Crow, in San Antonio, Texas. Harvey married Janice Neves, 33 years ago. They moved to Llano, from San Antonio, in 1987. He went into Army Reserves after high school and then worked in the freight business for over 20 years and retired from Ben E Keith in 2010. Rex K. Taylor passed away Thursday, July 16,2015, at the age of 54. Rex is survived by his wife, Lori Taylor of Fredericksburg; his parents, Frederick Nolan and Joyce Taylor of Llano; sister, Cynthia Taylor Lott and husband Rodney of Llano, and brother, Anthony Taylor and wife Jamie of Llano. For all who knew our dear Rex, he loved to entertain and make people laugh.
