The Llano County Commissioners heard an update on the VETRIDE program during Monday’s regularly scheduled meeting.
Sophie McCoy, VETRIDE program manager, told commissioners the program is up to using seven vans. The multi-county program, based in Burnet, has provided 100 additional rides from Llano County in the last 12 months than it did the previous year.

Harvey Klee of Llano County was awarded the “Best Tai Chi Instructor Training Provider 2018” in the U.S. by United Kingdom-based LUX magazine.
According to LUX, “Klee has designed a unique self-study tai chi program based on the premise that all learning is self-learning. This was the basis for the award.”
