Terri Hendrix is a woman of wit, wisdom and conviction and she returns to the Odeon theater in Mason with Lloyd Maines Saturday June 17. Showtime is 7:00 pm and admission is $20 per person.
The triple threat singer/songwriter was celebrating 20 years in her recording career when she performed at the Odeon last year.

The Mason County Historical Society will be holding a Ft. Mason Restoration Dedication Ceremony on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Fort Mason located at 204 West Spruce Street on top of Post Hill. The society will be placing several plaques at the fort to thank the project donors.
The Society has been working on this restoration project of the Officers Headquarters for several years and it is finally finished.
We celebrated a great Memorial Day weekend. Our air conditioner went out Saturday night. The weather was kind to us on Sunday with cloud cover and a shower. Hope Monday is as calm. I seriously thought of riding around in the car after lunch Sunday to cool off. However, I never had air conditioning until I was a junior in college and moved into an upper classman dorm.
