I am ready for Christmas. I decorated outside. I have not brought the tree down from the attic. But, it will get done and I will be ready. At this point in my life, I only want to know when you will come to my house so we can celebrate Christmas.

Fredericksburg, Texas Every three years, Hill Country Memorial (HCM) conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to identify the critical health needs of the community. The CHNA uses systematic, comprehensive data collection and analysis to define priorities for health improvement, creates a collaborative community environment to engage stakeholders, and an open and transparent process to listen and truly understand the health needs of the community.
On Monday, December 9, the Storytime selection will be The Three Bears’ Christmas by Kathy Duval and illustrated by Paul Meisel. After taking a walk on Christmas Eve while their freshly baked gingerbread cookies, Papa, Mama, and Baby Bear return home to encounter yet another intruder--only this one doesn’t have golden hair!
This weekend is the Annual Community Christmas Party out at the Peter’s Prairie Schoolhouse at 6 PM. Plan to join us for a really nice evening.
We are providing BBQ, Beans, Coleslaw, Potato Salad, BBQ Sauce, Jalapeños, Pickles, Onion, Bread, Coffee & Tea. If you attend, please bring a dessert & a donation to help Bluebonnet Casa purchase Christmas gifts for their children.

The Llano Country Opry will present “Christmas With Lisa Layne” on Saturday, December 14, at the Lantex Theater in downtown Llano, Texas. The show begins at 2:30 PM and admission is $15.00 per person.
Layne is the vocalist of one of the world’s most loved Christmas songs “All I Want For Christmas Is You” by Vince Vance and the Valiants.
The Mason Study Club invites the public to a retirement farewell party for Assistant Librarian, Nancy Scholibo. The party will be held on Thursday, December 12th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00PM, at the Library.
Nancy started volunteering at the library in 2004 and did so for 6 years. In 2010, she was appointed as the assistant.
I trust you are celebrating the season at every opportunity. Our household is adding in great grandson Tanner’s first birthday party above Christmas celebrations. Happy Birthday Tanner.
Sunday will be very busy. Shoe boxes for Mexico are due. Also, Angel Tree gifts are due. And, grandson Tanner will be baptized followed by a covered dish lunch after church.
The Mason school bands will hold their annual Christmas Concert this Thursday, December 12th, in the High School gym starting at 7:00 p.m. The concert will start with the 6th grade band to be followed by the JH band and then the HS band.
Legionnaires/Auxiliary members and a guest are invited to our annual Christmas party!
