Happy New Year. I am ready for a new year. It gives us the mindset of new starts. No, I will not exercise more or eat less. However, I will work on being nicer. I will try to organize my sewing room that is in serious danger of caving in.
The board of directors of The People/Plant Connection invites you to join them as they celebrate their ten year anniversary in 2020. To celebrate they will be offering new seminars, youth programs and special events throughout the year. This month they are introducing three new programs. The city of Mason Recycle Center will not put out the recycle trailers normally located at Northside Park and Heritage Park this weekend. Due to the shortened week and the expected overflow of recyclables, we ask that you bring your recyclables to us during our regular business hours. We will be opened 7:00 a.m.
It is time to remind everyone of the Patriot Warriors’ Mason County Veterans Hunt. Our meal and hunt kick off will be Friday, January 10, and it will again be held at the Community Building. A sirloin and sausage meal with all the trimmings will be served around 12 noon following the Quilts of Valor presentation.
Any ladies (or men) who wish to bring sides or desserts will be appreciated.
We are expecting fifty or so hunters to be hosted by twenty two area ranchers.
