The Hext Volunteer Fire Department invites you to their annual fundraiser and fish fry. It will be held this Saturday, October 6th, at the firehouse, next to the Post Office in Hext.

(Mason, Texas) - students from around the Mason Area invite students from surrounding communities to share their Christian faith with fellow students during our 3rd Annual National Fields of Faith Event. This interdenominational outreach event will be held in over 500 locations throughout the nation.
Fields of Faith is structured as a student-to-student ministry.

Storytime is held Mondays at 10:30 a.m. in the Kid’s Zone of the Mason Co. M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library. Children ages 2-6 are welcome and should be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. The Mason County Republican Meeting held their bi-monthly meeting at noon September 19th, in the Stibling Room of the Mason County Library. The guest speaker was Suzanne Conaway, wife of US Congressman Mike Conaway of the 11th district which includes Mason. Suzanne informed and delighted those attending with what life is like for the spouse of our representatives.
