If you are like me I always eat too much at Thanksgiving and then there are the leftovers. With this dish you can use your leftover turkey or it is really good with Chicken, too. Hope you all have a BLESSED Thanksgiving!!

How about those Punchers? For those of us who traveled to Pflugerville Friday night, we were treated to an action packed game. I haven’t been to a game decided by overtime in years. Congratulations to the team, coaches, cheerleaders, and band. We are now at that point in the season where it is best not to read some stranger’s theory about who will win, but just take it one play at a time and one game at a time.
Thanksgiving.
Brought to you in living Technicolor.
And bigger than any wide-screen TV.
Don’t touch that dial.
The moment has come.

Thanksgiving—a traditional meal of many colors.
Equal to a painter’s palette.
Each dish bringing something different to the table.
Kinda like people.
The golden brown turkey.
The golden yellow yams.
The dressing (aka stuffing) colored in camouflage.
Orange carrots.
What’s green, brown, and beige, and always served at Thanksgiving?

It's Sometimes a Steep Learning Curve
I like to think of myself as being technically savvy about all types of devices - phones, tablets, PCs, etc. Over the years, as technology has advanced at an ever-increasing pace, I've always tried to maintain my knowledge of new hardware, software and all types of gadgets.
Make no mistake, I'm definitely partial to some things over others.

Dear Gerry,
On November 8th, after the rains we had, I was delivering mail on my regular route. I arrived at Loeffler Lane and was surprised to see the creek seemed to be running faster than usual. I drove closer to see my markers telling me it was safe to cross but I could not see the markers.
Trump
The Nov. 8, 2016 election of Donald Trump and Mike Pence proves that the system of government that our God-inspired Founding Fathers set in motion still works to correct the abuses of power.
We routed the enemy at the gate and set 'em back a spell, without firing a shot.
Praise God Almighty.

Did you know that next week is National Game and Puzzle Week? I didn’t either, but we can celebrate it here at the library any week—we always have a puzzle out. I usually put in a few minutes before work once or twice a week on the library puzzle because I just can’t help myself—I love puzzles!
Batter Up
Because of ‘lead time,’ this is the first column I’ve actually written since the presidential election. Last week’s column was published after the election was over, but since I have to send the column to my editors on Sunday night, I wrote that one a couple of days before Voting Day.
The calendar says it’s Fall, but it’s only Summer Part 2, here in Texas. We’ve had a few nippy days. However, they are just teasing us. That’s why we don’t put up Winter and Summer clothing. One day it’s shorts and the next day it’s a windbreaker! However, if you’re in the mood for a piddling day, you can just stay in your PJ’s.
If I had to write an essay on something and it had to be two pages.
Crock Pot Chicken Stew
The closer it gets to Thanksgiving I start looking for stress-free and convenient dishes. This is a different twist on stew but will still warm you up on these chilly autumn evenings. I like to serve it with cornbread
4 to 5 cups chopped cooked chicken
1 can Rotel
1 can canned tomatoes (chopped
1/2 (32-ounce) package diced hash brown potatoes
1 can whole kernel corn ...
