Blanco State Park already hit full capacity on Sunday, June 18, which was Father’s Day. The park attendants think July 4 will be the same. The overnight camp grounds are fully booked every weekend until August of this year, but day passes are available on a first come, first serve basis.
The staff wants to warn people that once the park is at full capacity, no one else is let into the park, period.

The resignation of longtime Blanco Middle School counselor Lisa Rogers, who has been the subject of an ongoing investigation for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a student, was made effective immediately on Monday by the Blanco Independent School District Board of Education.

The tour group gathered in San Antonio last Monday, and its first stop on Tuesday was Blanco and Twin Sisters Dance Hall. There, a full day of activities got underway at 10:30 a.m.
