Travis Campbell is the new pastor at First Assembly of God Church in Llano. He lived in Georgetown his entire life until he met his wife, Karen, the “prettiest girl he had ever seen.” After they married in 2001, they moved to Marble Falls. Karen had come to the Hill Country of Central Texas as a small child and had been raised in Kingsland.
Winnie Morgan’s family has a long history in the Presbyterian Church, dating back even before the founding of the First Presbyterian Church in Llano. Morgan’s great, great, great grandfather, Samuel William Tate, moved to what would later be called Llano County from Tennessee in the 1850s. Llano’s Women’s Bible Study is hosting a guest speaker and brunch on Wednesday, March 23. The festivities will include delicious food, warm fellowship, and an inspirational message from Janay McDonald Wilborn. Spring Has Sprung!! And it is a glorious spring for sure. The Blue Bonnets and Indian Paintbrush are rejoicing. My Bachelor Buttons and Poppies are in blossom along with the Iris and lilies. This is why we live here in Central Texas. So far I have had to hold myself back from going planting crazed.
