The Mason Co. M. Beven Eckert Library is excited to share a new foyer display with the community. This unique exhibit features the works of two artists: Doreen and Michael Murphy.
Doreen’s pencil sketches in the west case are studies from the nineteenth-century photographs of American Indian life in the West, which she found interesting when she first moved to the United States from South Africa in 1990.
Michael’s pen-and-ink drawings are in the center and east cases.
Sixth and seventh grade boys and their parents or caregivers are invited to “Guy Talk,” a free interactive presentation about growing up a man on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Middle School cafeteria (110 W. Travis St.).
