All music lovers and church musicians are invited by the Mason Ministerial Alliance to the next 5th Sunday Service of Song, Praise, and Fellowship at 6 PM, this Sunday, March 31, at First Baptist Church, 325 College Avenue. Offerings will go toward the Mason Food Bank. (Performing musicians should arrive about 15 minutes early.)
Mason County teachers who are looking to get their hands dirty, have fun and earn professional development credit this summer are urged to apply today for Texas Farm Bureau’s Summer Agriculture Institute (SAI).
“The Summer Agriculture Institute isn’t like other continuing education courses,” Shannon Worrell, Mason County Farm Bureau president, said.
The Mason County Cancer Benefit would like to present the 2019 fundraiser, Betting on a Cure.
This year’s fundraiser will be held April 27th, 2019, and will include; a fajita dinner, silent auction and a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament. The event will be held at the Mason County Community Building.
The fajita dinner, by Santos Restaurant, will be served at 5:30 p.m.

The City of Mason will be holding a General Election for City Commissioner District 4 on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Early Voting will be held at the City Office Building 124 Moody St. Early voting begins Monday, April 22, 2019 and concludes Tuesday, April 30, 2019 hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The flowers are beautiful. We love this season because of all the new life, flowers, baby animals, and the unique green of a mesquite tree when the leaves pop out. The allergies are another story entirely. The mass of pollen has made my allergies go crazy. I will view the flowers with a mask on.
