Storytime is held Mondays at 10:30 am in the Kid’s Zone of the Mason Co. M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library. Children ages 2-6 are welcome and should be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Weekly stories are led by Carol Lampman, an elementary school teacher.
On Monday, February 4 we’ll be reading Don’t Wake up the Bear by Marjorie Dennis Murray.
The football banquet will be held at the community building on January 31st at 6:00 p.m.
We will recognize the varsity and junior varsity accomplishments as well as recognize the cheerleaders and trainers. Guest speaker for the banquet will be former Texas Tech quarterback, Cody Hodges.
Puncher Club will be providing the meal and we hope that you can make plans to attend.
Tickets for the 30th Heart of Texas Country Music Festival will go on sale at 9:00 AM, on Tuesday, January 29. The event will run from March 15-23, in Brady, Texas, and will feature fifteen shows and dances plus the Darrell McCall and Friends Golf Tournament.

This year CTEC is offering twenty-five $1,000 college scholarships, bringing the combined amount of financial help awarded to area students over the program’s 22-year history to $584,000. Completed scholarship applications must be in the Fredericksburg CTEC office by 5 p.m., Friday, February 22.
