In the past 12 years, the MCF has awarded over 135 grants for a total of $364,000. We have provided grants for upgrades in medical services in our community, area fire departments, school programs, city beautification, and many other areas.

Our short tease of spring is gone. We have had a few cold days. The goal at our house is to use up some of the woodpile on the porch before spring so we don’t have to move it back to the fence. We have burned up a large amount of wood in the last few days.
The City of Mason will be closed February 18th, 2019 for Presidents day. Monday’s trash route will be moved to Tuesday 19th, 2019.
Also, we had an interesting and informative public workshop on February 4th, at the Eckert Civic Center. The City of Mason will be looking at our ordinances that will impact all citizens in Mason, that is why we need everyone’s input for the future of Mason.
