The Mason Co. M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library is offering two computer classes this winter and spring. If enough people are interested, Carol Tucker will teach a Microsoft Word class and a Microsoft Excel class. If interested, please call Carol at 281-788-5145. The football banquet will be held at the community building on January 31st at 6:00 p.m.
We will recognize the varsity and junior varsity accomplishments as well as recognize the cheerleaders and trainers. Guest speaker for the banquet will be former Texas Tech quarterback, Cody Hodges.
Puncher Club will be providing the meal and we hope that you can make plans to attend.
Due to the October flood, the Friends of the Library had to cancel the Wine & Cheese appreciation event. Our intention was to reschedule for later this month but the Board decided it was so close to the Book & Bake Sale, it was best to just cancel it completely.
We will have our 2019 event in October.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is now accepting comments on a proposed rule designed to keep U.S. waterways clean while also clearing up prior water rule confusion.

Christmas is barely over and our household is getting into birthday celebrations. Scott, Crystal and Megan Ceynowa were over for Scott’s birthday dinner on Saturday. We enjoy visitors. We won’t go into numbers, but how could my baby be that old?
