I am getting that Christmas feeling. The Christmas music is helping. The tree we put up and one strand of lights were out didn’t help. It is a work in progress at this point. I am thinking a new tree is the best solution.
Class Meetings continue at the Art United Methodist Church on Wednesday evenings with soup at 6 and the meeting follows at 6:30.
The First United Methodist Church will host its second advent luncheon on December 12 from noon until 1:00 to celebrate "A Joyous Christmas" season.
A short devotional time will be presented by Emily Hicks, and the singing of traditional Christmas carols will be led by Dorothy Asbill and musician Marilyn Kahan.
St. Paul Lutheran Church will present "The Journey to Bethlehem" Drive Thru Christmas Luminary on December 9 at Fort Mason City Park. The time set is 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

A beautiful Victorian style home built in 1882 is a “Must See” on this year’s Holiday Home Tour coming up on December 1st from Noon until 5 PM in Llano. The home, which is now owned by Llano Pastor Ralph Reitmeyer and his wife Ruth, was originally built by Richmond Alexander McInnis.

On Monday, December 3rd at 9:00 a.m. the box office opens to the public for the Fredericksburg Theater Company’s (FTC) Holiday Musical Winter Wonderettes. The show opens on Friday, December 14th and will have six performances at the Steve W. Shepherd Theater, 1668 Hwy 87 South, Fredericksburg, TX, 78624.
Winter Wonderettes is the holiday sequel to FTC’s hit jukebox musical production of The Marvelous Wonderettes.
The Mason Community Choir will present the cantata, “More Than a Manger” this Sunday, December 2, 6 :00 pm at First United Methodist Church.
