Chile Verde Cheddar Burger Foil Packs
Well it is time for the Super Bowl and the Cowboys and Texans didn’t make it this year but there is always hope for next year. I am not going to miss out on any tailgating, anyway.
I tend to think of burgers, or wings and I am hoping the weather will be pleasant enough to heat up the grill.
I hope your week was as great as ours. We had a little more rain. The doctor appointments were few. Great grandson Tanner came to visit for a day. God is good.

Hanging On to the Courage of Our Convictions
We human beings can be stubborn creatures. When we establish an opinion, we will steadfastly cling to it, championing it and challenging all those who might hold different opinions. When questioned about why we refuse to waver, refuse to listen to others, we will respond that we are hanging on to the courage of our convictions.
But, that's not always true, is it?
Just as often in this life, we dig in our heels, not because of the strength of ...
Censorship - cen·sorship … noun

Many people were very unhappy and disappointed that the Odeon Preservation Board decided that it was necessary to cancel/censor the showing of the movie Gosnell.

Now, if you want to talk decadent, you need go no further than to discuss this creation. No less than 3 creamy layers of chocolate goodness. One of my favorite comedians, ever, was Mitch Hedberg. And one of Mitch’s best jokes was the one about Pringles. He said he thought Pringles started out to make tennis balls, but the first day a truckload of potatoes showed up by mistake. Pringles was a laid-back company, so they said, “Cut ‘em up.”
OK, you’d probably have to be there.
I’m thinking it probably didn’t happen that way, anyway, but it’s a good joke.
Just ‘Plane’ Herb…
For decades, four words have been used to magnify success achieved by remarkable individuals. The words? “Only in America could.”… Following this opening are tributes to support such a lofty claim.
I’m not sure such a well-intentioned comment really is a true “fit” for Herb Kelleher, who introduced discount air travel to America a half-century ago.
Christmas is barely over and our household is getting into birthday celebrations. Scott, Crystal and Megan Ceynowa were over for Scott’s birthday dinner on Saturday. We enjoy visitors. We won’t go into numbers, but how could my baby be that old?
Class Meetings continue at the Art United Methodist Parsonage on Wednesday evenings.
Another day in Mason.
Another day of life.
One day at a time.
And some days a particular piece of white paper.
Not just any paper.
Funeral notices.
Posted outside shops and offices surrounding the square.
And beyond.
Like little flags flapping white in the wind.
Those who pass by look closer.
Whether local or tourist, we pause to read the very white simple piece of paper clipped outside Benjie’s or Market Square.
And there it is.
Just a few words in bold black type.
