Another new arrival is Tracen Slater Moreland who was born on January 12th. He weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces & is 19 ½ inches long.
Nineteen beautiful ladies helped the awesome Janie Moreland, Joycelyn Carter and Colleen Adair celebrate their respective December birthdays. They enjoyed food & fellowship at Pecan Street Brewery on December 13th!

Friends of the Johnson City Library reopened their thrift shop as the Red Door Resale Shop on September 7. All proceeds from sales at the shop, after expenses, are designated to pay the balance on the Library loan.
The Friends of the Library says thank you to our community for its support of the Red Door Resale Shop with generous donations and purchases.
Cottonwood Shores/Horseshoe Bay/Marble Falls, TX – Back by popular demand, this holiday season the Hill Country Community Theatre will also be holding a very special event. “Hill Country Christmas on the Air” is a modern, old-fashioned radio variety show and sing-a-long.
“One of our goals here at the Hill Country Community Theatre is to provide even more entertainment for the community to enjoy,” said Mike Rademaekers the theatre’s executive director.
The Johnson City Volunteer Fire Department will hold its 16th annual fish fry fundraiser and dance on Saturday, May 14, at the Blanco County Fairgrounds in Johnson City. The event is usually held the first weekend in May, but was moved due to Mother’s Day.
The festivities begin at 5 p.m.
Pedernales Electric Cooperative members now have a new way to make the place they love to live even better: the PEC Power of Change program. Those who opt in will have their electric bills rounded up to the nearest dollar, and the combined funds will be awarded throughout the year to eligible area non-profit organizations and qualified members in need.
In Marble Falls today, PEC Board President James Oakley became the first enrollee.
Steve and Susan Hill had family from Florida visit last week. Steve's sister Shannon, niece Tracy, and great-niece Bailey visited attractions in the area. It was their first time to Texas and it had also been 14 years since they had seen each other. They all decided they loved Texas and wouldn't wait so long to visit next time.

The following Sunday, childhood friends and family, Maggie Gastring Wilke, Marsha Hobbs Andrews, and Susan Hobbs Hill met for their second annual wildflower tour.
On Saturday, May 21 the First Christian Curch will host a spaghetti supper from 5:00-7:00 pm. The meal (by donation) will be served in the exhibit hall at the Fair Grounds to raise funds for their upcoming trip to Zacatecas, Mexico.
Joni Topper stated, "Helping with the vacation bible school there, last year, was definitely a highlight of the trip.
