The public is invited to the opening reception for Samuel Shelton, "Touching Life with Light" exhibit on Thursday, May 3, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Arnold Art Gallery on the square in Mason, Texas.
Samuel Shelton is an oil painter whose portraiture and figurative work is reminiscent of the Baroque Masters of yester-year.
The local Walk Across Texas campaign is nearing its end and will celebrate its success by participating in the annual Mason County Cancer Benefit! On Saturday, April 28th, Walk Across Texas teams are encouraged to participate in the 5K walk/run. The trail will be lined with HERO bags, reminding us of those we love in our community who have battled cancer.

Mason, Texas- Mason County Habitat for Humanity dedicated its seventeenth home in Mason on Friday, April 20, 2018. Construction began in December of 2017 when a crew poured the foundation.
