The Llano Tea Party presents “The American Revolution” 1754-1776-1788.
The LTP will have its 7th Annual “July 4th Celebration” at the Re-Opening of the American Legion Hall Post #370, Thursday July 4th.
Doors will open at 10 am. The Christian Motorcycle Club will bring the Color Guard. Hamburgers and Hot dogs will be served for donation only, and all proceeds will go to the American Legion toward their repair/rebuild fund.

Welcome Summer. We have had a few hot days. This is most likely a preview of the weather to follow for several months. I am totally comfortable at 70 to 76 degrees. This is not my best time of year. It is often out of my temperature range at night and always out of range during the day.
The public water system of the City of Mason in anticipation of the hot weather to come, and the City Administrator John Palacio are requesting our citizens to observe Voluntary water conservation measures. While we do not fear immediate water shortages, we feel it is necessary to move to Voluntary measures to protect the water levels for everyone and the demand on our water system. Hill Country Astronomers (HCA) will meet at 6:30 p.m., Monday, July 1, in the HEB Activity Room at Hill Country University Center in Fredericksburg.
The program will feature a video lecture from Professor David M. Meyer’s series Experiencing Hubble: Understanding the Greatest Images of the Universe.
Professor Meyer says he has “… found no better way to communicate the joy of discovery in astronomy than through the beautiful cosmic images obtained by the Hubble Space Telescope.”

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Llano County, will be having a Private Pesticide Applicator Training Class on Monday, June 24, 2019. Class will begin with registration at 8:00 a.m. with the training beginning at 8:15 a.m. Cost of the training if you pick up your materials is $80. If info is mailed to you, cost will be $90.
Children’s songwriter and entertainer Joe McDermott will perform a lively concert for the kids at the Mason Co. M. Beven Eckert Memorial Library, 410 Post Hill St., TODAY, at 1:30 P.M. The program is in lieu of Read to Swim, but children who attend will receive swim passes. Admission is FREE.

The City of Mason will be holding a City Wide Tire Clean-Up scheduled to begin on Monday, June 10th, 2019 and continue through Friday, June 14th, 2019. All tires can be dropped off at the Recycling Center during the hours of 7am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. The Recycling Center is located at 510 N.
