Grandmas Thousands of children are walking out of school to call attention to the need for gun reform. American children are afraid to go to school. Let that sink in. American children are afraid to go to school. Maybe not in Mason. I don’t know. I hope not. I have grandchildren in Dallas and Denton; cities with far more potential for gun violence.
Pets Gerry - Unbelievable! The turf war between the petsitters and the pet boarders has commenced. I'm not touching this one with a ten foot pole. I just wonder when I will be able to stop laughing. These are two good options that are available locally. Caring for pets is not a one size fits all propisition. Carolyn Karner
Crock Pot Bread; Easiest Bread You Ever Made! We make lots of things in our crock pot, since it provides us with a way to dump in a bunch of ingredients and then walk away and do other things for the time it takes for the pot to do its magic.
As you begin to travel and make plans for vacations, don’t forget that books on CD can make the miles fly by. They’re also great if you commute to work, and some folks even listen to books as they do their housework or other tasks. We’re getting new ones in every week, so come in and take a look!

Macaroni with Sausage & Ricotta A little bit of sausage goes a long way to adding the creamy ricotta sauce in this healthy and quick pasta recipe. While this recipe calls for macaroni, you can make this dish with any tubular pasta. This is just the thing to gratify your craving for comfort food in a hurry. 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil or canola oil ½ cups finely chopped onion 6 oz.
The Ceynowa household is still a crazy mess. John came home from the hospital on Wednesday. He has his good days and bad days. With the help of son Scott and grandson John, we now have an ambulance accessible home. I didn’t know you needed a 12 foot box for the ambulance to get to your house.

Let Citizen Responsibility Prevail! Next Monday, early voting begins in the City of Mason election. I cannot recall a time when we had so many candidates vying for seats on the Commission, though I've known several elections that were just as rife with angst and drama. There are eight candidates running for three positions on the City Commission.
