Commissioner Mike Sandoval, Precinct 3, said the TxDOT’s 2019 Grant application for safe routes to school (SRTS) must be submitted by August 15. Sidewalks will be built along RR 2900 and RR 1431 to serve Packsaddle Elementary and Kingsland School. Commissioners are set to review the application on July 22 to approve before submission.
