   Christmas is a time for family, fellowship and celebrating the love of Christ. The family of River of Life Church wants to share in food and fellowship with our family of Mason at our annual Christmas Dinner.    The Afterschool Program of FBC Mason is accepting applications for Teachers.    Please pick up applications from the FBC office and return by November 18th.
   St. Joseph’s parishioners invite you to mark your calendars for the first Sunday in November (Nov. 6TH); this year’s date for their Annual Mexican Dinner.    Serving will begin at 11 AM in the Mason ISD Cafeteria on College Street. As usual, you may “Eat In” or request “Take Out”.    Each plate is $10.00 and the meal consists of enchiladas, beans, rice, salad, tea and a dessert.
   It’s a Pink Fiesta and all women in Mason County are invited to attend! Invite your friends and join us on Thursday, October 20th, 5:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.    What is a Pink Fiesta? It is an awareness event for breast and cervical cancer that will help women discover how early detection can provide the best protection for these two cancers.
   YOU ARE INVITED!    St. John Lutheran Church in Castell - founded in 1893 - will hold its annual Reunion Sunday on Oct. 9.    The worship service begins at 10 a.m. All former members and/or their descendants, friends and neighbors are cordially invited to stay, visit and share a BBQ lunch.    On this special day, we are also celebrating Norman Grenwelge’s 95th birthday.
   You are invited to join your voice in praise to God as we gather at Hilda United Methodist Church for the 66th annual German Hymn Fest this Sunday, September 25th, at 3:00pm.    The Hilda United Methodist Church is happy to announce the appointment of our new minister, Rev. Michael Bell and his wife Joya. His first Sunday to begin as our minister was July 2nd. We welcome everyone to come and worship with us and meet our new pastor and his wife.
Keep Emeth Bauer in your prayers. He has been hospitalized with pneumonia and heart problems. Hopefully, surgery will help with the heart problems soon. Pastor John Alsbrooks is having voice trouble. Stephen Mutschink brought the message Sunday. Our lay leaders will continue with the sermons until his voice is better. We wish him a speedy, if silent, recovery period.
