Democrats Well, Praise God Almighty! I'm glad to know that there are not enough people in Texas buying into the Democrat's socialist agenda to get Beto elected. People are smart enough to know that they are better off today with Trump in office. The Democrat's socialist/communist policies only resonate with people in times of crisis.
Super Easy Bread courtesy: the Spruce This is a loaf of bread that you can make up even if you’ve never tried to bake one! It’s very easy and straight forward and would be a good introduction to someone who’d like to try baking bread but is frightened off by the idea using yeast and doing any kneading.
Lion Joel opened the November 2 meeting by recognizing the guest, Mark Nash, who said that he will soon be joining the Mason Lions Club. Lion Joel next introduced the visiting high school seniors and asked them to introduce themselves to the club. Senior Alina Ordonez introduced herself and said that she would be going into nursing when she graduates.

Orlando Squirrel Revival Over the years, I’ve made light of many of peta’s campaigns. It’s been a lot of fun, but my ridicule hasn’t made an appreciable difference in the organization’s approach to perceived animal wrongs. Or any difference, that I can tell. Which makes me wonder why people sometimes tell me I should leave peta alone, that they’re just trying to help animals as best they can.
Riding High… Just as “puppy love” is real to the puppy, so also are “thrill rides.” And, whether on land or sea, let’s leave it to participants to decide if such rides deserve to have the “thrill” adjective in their names. Recently, I climbed the stairs on a cruise ship--Carnival’s Vista--determined to pedal my way around what may be the most talked about new cruise ship attraction. Upon arrival at the “launch point,” I peered downward, wondering if I needed a pace ...
The weatherman says the first freeze will be this week. I like fall. I’m not real fond of freezing weather in the winter. But, no one asked me what I wanted. The election is over. I am grateful that the name calling and viciousness is over. Now is the time to remove all signs from yards and fences.
Topaz. Now there’s a gem of a gem. November’s birthstone. And Mason’s own indigenous rock. You might find one at Country Collectibles. Or Benjie’s. Maybe in Underwood’s Antique Mall. Or Market Square. You can also see a big one on display at Mason Square Museum. And Country Collectibles. Topaz. It’s a beauty. Mum’s the word. As in chrysanthemum Official flower for November. Try saying that three times. Chrysanthemum chrysanthemum chrysanthemum. ...
Gerry, My aunt, Mldred Todd (daughter of August Willmann), sent me the text of a letter written by my grandfather, August A. Willmann, when he was serving in France 2 days before Armistice Day during World War I. It is addressed to his sister Lillie Willmann Eckert. August’s grandchildren are Karen Toone, Sarah Stahl, and myself.
So Glad the Election is Over! When you read this, the election of 2018 will finally be over and done. And that makes me SO very happy! Elections are always tense. For people who really care about the direction of their government and who really care about the future we're leaving to the next generations, they can't help but be tense.
