The state of the Union address. The president gives one every year. Can I give you my state of the Union address? The state of the economy – good to great! The state of our union – division as great as 150 years ago. The state of our morals and spirituality – pretty bad and getting worse.

Since 1983, April has been designated as Child Abuse Prevention Month to raise awareness of the pervasiveness of child abuse/neglect and to promote the safety and well-being of all children. Children are the next generation of leaders and brightest rays of hope for the future. All children deserve to grow up in a nurturing environment free from harm and fear.

Offerings to to Mason County Cancer Benefit Fund each Wednesday evening, as St. Paul Lutheran Church continues to invite the community to Lenten suppers at 5:30 p.m. and half hour devotional services at 6:30 p.m. Surprise members of the Mason community will portray two of the 14 traditional stations of the cross each Wednesday up to Holy Week and four on Good Friday.
As I do my best to get me out of the way, putting all emotion and sensationalism aside, while it is easy to make light of the absolute ignorance shown by those who want to win the White house by making the claim that we will all be extinct in 12 yrs.
